I bought my phone 2 months ago and te screen freezes. when i open it up the screen is blank and now i cant turn the bastard on. And to add more of an insult the lovely poeple at the car phone warehouse wont fcking fix it! Anyon who knows what i can do please e-mail me.
this phone, is okay, but the ringtones r rubbish don't give much on the phone. Its okay to txt and phone, Everytime you phone someone lets say 10mins, you will find you battery is so lifeless. I charge it all through the night, and the battery is fully charged but , it don't last, once you phone, you need to charge it. I would have to say the battery life less than a year. And they say it last for a couple of years. If any1 is thinking of buying it then don't battery is crap.

I really like the samsung A300 the only down side to it is the ringtones, it is very hard to find ringtones i have only found one site that does do them apart from that the phone is fine
I bought this phone from the carphone warehouse for 99p (price match with http://www.smalltalk.co.uk) in novmber last year, i have previosly had nokia 3210, erikkson t28 and some crappy old mitsubishi and apart from the lack of ringtones i am very happy with this phone. there are a few little things i would like..... the rubber thing that covers the charger hole dissappeared after about a week..... crap design and i would also like something that tells me how much life the battery has in hours like the eriksson has. But apart from that it is a very good little phone!!
so no ring tones, chance to learn bloody music, just have to copy out of the books in HMV!!! the phone works, looks good, no wonder the battery life isn't as good as the nokias, it has 2 screens and 1 of them is quite large!! As for the price, i got my 8210 for free in a deal, but totally unreliable with screen crashes all the time, upgraded too a300 for less than £50, why does everyone pay £200 for both these phones when someone with a brain can pick them up 4 next to nothing!
I live in Australia and I bought my samsung A300 before christmas 2001. It has 7 games on it. Snake, Othello, Roulette, Poker machine, mole, blackjack and a shooter game.
We were all fooled about the fone. It may look Good but it is no where near a decent fone - this is compared to what you would have for the same value. And then theres the problem with the ringtones. I think we should be compenstated cuz there are no ringtones. Itf there are web sites guess they're in another language and therefore you fone aboard. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT COSTS THESE DAYS. advice to others: DON'T BE FOOLED by the looks. Could any one with uk sites for ringtones (A300) email me pls. Thanks.
i think the samsung a300 is a great but having paid £200 for it i think it was a bit expencive. i am only 15 and i feel it was to expensive for me for what you got. i feel £150 would have been a fair price. i'v had my samsung a300 for about 2 mouths and i carn't find any ringtones could somone please tell me where to find ringtones. i feel another down side to the a300 is it does not have changeable covers. when i bought my a300 i was led to believe that the blue light on the front screen would stay on all the time but as soon as you shut the phone the blue light goes off. over all i'd say the samsung is a very good phone and is very easy to use.

well where do i start ok the beginning!..i was so looking forward for my phone comming through the post..it arrives..two batteries nice one! now i know why i need 2 i never use the slim line one don't last the day and thats without fone calls or texting is straight out the window!! that nite i got it i put it in my pocket however there was a pound coin in there...scracthed it up to high heaven! the same nite F#%^King and ring tones? oh come on! u got a good looking fone and no good ring tones! a cheap made fone and sounds cheap but looks great! i put it on silent in public so noone hears there music! but i like the top face so yeah it looks well stylish buts thats it sorry samsung.why did i get rid of my nokia! :0(
