I now reside in the USA and wish I could buy one here. I owned an 89 Prisma 1.6ie Symbol for 2 years, 110% reliable, very fast, useable performance and best of all, rare. I sold it for more than I paid.Sold it to an elderly gent, next time I saw it, it was in a junk car shop looking tired, I gave the guy 25 quid & had it crushed.

We have just retired our trusty 1.6 i.e after 12 years of ownership. The engine is still clean, no leaks, the car is still reliable. Minimal rust though the car was used daily all its life and kept outside in UK Yorkshire weather. Average fuel economy over this time has been 28 MPG.
