Have got through three techno's, all having problems with the rear wheels when going over uneven ground and by that I mean uneven pavements not rough gorund! Very disappointing as problems occurred after 1 week of purchase.

I have also had problems with the rear brakes breaking off after only 4 months of use. I have been told by my local stroller dealer that this seems to be a common problem with the Techno - quite disappointing since Maclaren has such a reputation of being very durable.

Frame on hood had to be replaced after 11 months & now joining rivets at back of seat frame causing sever bruising and discomfort to child age 30 months - despite having footmuff liner on for extra padding!!! Am now buying new stroller - not a Maclaren.

Excellent stroller, but for our severe Canadian climate plastic wind shield no use. Needs a proper storm cover, and slightly larger wheels for going though the snow. Price wise cannot really compete with cheaper but inferior models available in Canada.

Very lightweight and extremely durable. Ours has survived mountain walks and off-road use. Easily collapsed and very maneuvrable, ideal for around town or taking on an aeroplane. Only criticism is that the brake can be tricky to apply fully. Fabulous stroller and dh doesn't mind pushing it as it looks cool too.
