The Saturn was the most playable games console I have used. With such classics like Sega Rally, Saturn Bomberman, C&C, Worms, Athlete Kings, Winterheat and still the best footy game ever Sega Worldwide Soccer '98 ('97 is as good but without the league teams option) It is a weekly ritual to play SWWS 98. Get a Saturn if you can I have 2 Saturns and 2 SWWS'98 now just in case.
The saturn was a hugely underated piece of kit. I still play it and games like the panzer dragoon series and sega rally are class titles that paved the way for future games. I look forward to sega's new games as a multi platform developer.
Sega Saturn, a collectors dream. Now a Retro piece, the saturn is an indispensable piece of kit that deserved far more acclaim than it got. People who write in and complain that they were bored with it within 6 months had better some games?

I have had my sega saturn since 1999 and bought it for £10 off a mate althogh no box control pad and no games I soon started off my colection with way over 80 games and several pads althogh the original console has now been sold on to a close freind afte I acquired a boxed as new console with an oficial sega backup memory cat and several games for £40 some of the titles are rare games eg. Burning ranges and Shing force 3 I wold have to say this is one of the best consolse made in my oppinion some greate titles but almost as many crap ones as well Mad micky p

SEGA SATURN: Under supported & Underated console had its drawbacks such as Hardware/Lighting etc but has many more memorable games than the PS. The games which had time spent on them showed. Highly reccomended games for this console are Dead or Alive (Import Best 32 bit fighter) Sega Rally (Ground breaking Arcade Conversion) Athlete Kings/Winter Heat (Great Fun & Super High Resolution), Panzer Dragoon Saga (Superb RPG - If you can get hold of it) SWWS 97/98 (3D football at its best - PLAYABLE) and few people remember that Tomb Raider made its Debut on the saturn. I still play these games regularly. This is such a collectable peice of kit with add ons such as VCD cards Ram/Memory carts etc etc - Its a shame even Sega never quite gave it the support it deserved but with well over 300 games available (At decent prices) I can reccomend tis to anybody.

I bought one of these systems a year after it was launched in the UK. At first it was depressing that Sega discontinued game production BUT... soon after, the prices of existing games dropped and i found i could amass an excellent (and now quite valuable) number of sega saturn games. Buy a saturn if you can get your hands on one as they are fun little consoles which are going to become (and are almost already there) modern classics. Games such as athlete kings, winter heat, virtua cop1+2, saturn bomberman, bust-a-move2+3, puzzle fighter, nights, burning rangers, exhumed and house of the dead make it worthwhile.
