Timeport 7089 started life with high hopes from me. Now I'm pulling my hair out with the voice dialing facility. It just will not dial who I ask for whatever I do. Even down to two voice labels, it gets it wrong. Old man has got an Ericsson T20.....superb beast.
My Timeport is now on its way back to Motorola for the fourth time, meaning that I have ended up using my old Ericsson almost more than the Timeport itself. It is quite simply the worst phone that I have owned.
Timeport T250? thats a joke this is possably the most crummy phone I have ever owned it feels like a bit of lego and squeeks when you press keys.Having owned a micro tac 1(yes im that old)and various other motorolas this phone was a BIG dissapointment, compared to even the most basic Noikas the software is poor and I might get a job in a false nail parlor with the ringtones avaliable. No wonder Motorolas shares have taken a dive if this is the top of the range product, its utter shite and I hope they go bust and if anyone knows somebody in Motorola forward this review to them. Timeport? more like TIMEWARP and i want my money back you bunch of thiefs

Perfectly adequate phone for people who use a phone for work and not for posing. I agree it'sless well made than Ericson products, but it's lasted me better than all the Nokias and Siemens phones I and friends have owned. And it's very cheap for what it does.

motorolla timrport huh its like all the other products made by motorolla junk, the only people who like these phones are the people who can't afford a proper phone like a nokia etc, your better off going to the market and buying a plastic imitation mobile ,at least it would be less hassle, and would probably be better build quality too

Nothing compares to Nokia for the intuitiveness of software, but if you can be bothered to sit down for an hour or so you will find some rather good features such as a voice recording facility so you can record calls your friends make when when they're drunk and embarrass them later. Being tri-band was a pre-requisite and of the limited selection available this was the best choice. The most negative feature of this Phone is the short battery life which is unacceptable in comparison to other mobiles and makes me cynically wonder whether Motorola make most of their profit from the battery department...

Not keen on the shape and design of this phone, a bit ugly but I got a good deal on line rental so went for it anyway.
One the best features of this phone is the very bright screen which can be useful if you like text messaging while out clubbing.
But then the screen is a little bit too small to allow for easy reading.
I found the menu system a little confusing but does work in the US, if you go there a lot, which i don't!?
