I own the original Autocar/Motor test car: a 1987 Alpina C2 2.7 Cabriolet, its believed to be the first car bulit for th U.K. and was the Sytner test car that year. I have owned her for over two years and she's over 15 years old. I can tell you she is one of the most refined motor cars I have ever owned. On performance the car is blistering, I recently pitched her against a E30 M3 with 220bhp and she pissed all over her, the driver could not catch the C2 and worse still I had the soft top down....... I have found that the car is very reliable and produces a lot more power than quoted. With 84000 miles covered she is only getting into her stride. Alpina's tend to age beautifully.....

i have had my Alpina C2 2.7 for 3 years and has caused me no problems. it handles like a flea attached to the dogs balls. 0-60 feels like someone is ripping you open
