Two years ago I bought a Vanmaster 1995 prototype. This van and 3 others were the first caravans made by Vanmaster and they look very much like a Van Royce. When I bought the van it had been in dry storage for 3 years and was completely as new.I used it in 2001 for a trip to the North of Scotland and I have to say it is quite the best equiped van I have ever owned. One feature I partiularily like is the possibility through a hinged door frame section to use the end of the van as a private vanity area.Unfortunately in March last year I contracted Guillain Barrie Syndrome a neuropathy illness which in my case paralysed arms and legs.Fortunately one poes eventually recover from this illness but it can take years. This has certainly put an end top my caravaning days so if anybody out there is looking for a Vanmaster luxury 2 berth 450 ET I am regretably having to sell mine as it will be another year before I get the use of my legs back let alone manhandle a caravan. The replacement value of this model today is around £18,000 I am looking for £6,500 fully equiped. Built like the proverbial and gives no need to compromise on quality comforts. Trouble is we want to go for fixed bed and have room for grandchildren, but can't find a quality van which melts our butter.

Having been a fanatical camper for years, I could not believe it when we suddenly found and purchased a mint condition 450EK in 2002, what a find! I always swore I would never be a caravan owner
Yes we love it, even to the point of sitting in it in our drive like a couple of kids with a new toy, others do not compare to our "box" how could we ever replace it?
Owned for 6 months.

Excellent caravan very cosy and warm. We will have difficulty replacing this van when the time comes other than with a newer one. The only problem I have is keeping the wife in check, she would live in the van permanently.
Our two berth van has everything you wish for. Fanmaster heating, fly screens, blinds to all windows, a massive 4 burner hob which means you can keep the eating out costs down to a minimum and be a lot more self sufficient.
There is a lot of exterior storage space and slide out baskets on the beds which means that you have loads of space for all you equipment.
We also have an excellent Cd/radio which has a great sound quality
