Just got a Sprite beleived to be around 1985 model. First caravan but found it easy to tow and control which is what I wanted being my first tiem. Compact but plenty of storage. Can't complain I got more than my moneys worth and only had it 4 weeks and been away 3 tiems . Now going away for a week to give us time to learn about the caravan and how things work.

compact well laid out good storage.
Tight space if you do ot have an awning.

Just sold ours after owing for 6 years (1986 model). Wonderful caravan, never had any problems with it. It had tlc before we bought it and whilst we owned it and it still has lots of life left. I hope its new owner loves it as much.

Watch out for water ingress through the
outer join of alluminium panels approx
2/3 way up the van and along both
sides. I have seen a few of these vans
including my own that leaked in this
area due to very little overlap of
panels and breakdown of sealant. No
rails are fitted in this area either so
water can seap straight in especially
when towing in heavy rain.

Water ingress in the rear corners is
also a problem in these vans, still I
have had one (still got it too) and its
a very good van to start with. Easy to
tow quite cheep now 1989+ had hot water
and cassette toilet. Good Vans

You can fit up to 5 people in the
caravan, but I would recommended just
the 4. Ours is 18.5ft and has plenty of
room. The main beds are fine but the
kids beds have tended to get a little
bit uncomfortable through the years.

Other than that a lovely caravan.
