Had my bike now for about 18 months .. its a true bike . fast and head turning .. its not the best round town, big and heavy..out in the open its awesome , even with two up ..not the best on petrol ,but there again your not doing 30mph.. sitting up you get knocked about by the wind at speed, and you get covered in flies..
Fast and a proper bike.. looks good
Tyres don't last long. not economical on fuel

XJR 1300
Owned for 1 year.
Hi, im a bit mift by coments about the xjr's handling. Mines an 2001 sp. I've left the set up alone. It's got 21k on it now. I've toured on it and scratched on it. It'll keep with most bikes if you give it a chance.Brake before the bend, I've been out with guys dressed like rossi and been waiting in laybys for them to catch up. The Devon 'A' roads sort the riders out though. Im now using dunlops [had bridgestone 020's last] which are fine. Get a little heat in them 1st though. I've had 1200 bandit, R6, Zx6 ninja, GPZ900R,BMW R1100R to name a few. I've got xjr, RD350LC [1980], Sherco 290 trials, XLR 200 Honda. I ride alot with guys on ZX10, ZRX 1200, New R6, CB1300, BMW gs1200[thats quick],TL1000.
