I have owned a Sadler 26 for 8 years and sailed it from South Africa to Gibraltar and thurther. It may be a bit slow, it may be a bit cramped but it is the safest and most forgiving yacht I have encountered in its class. A Sadler 26 in good condition is definitly stronger than any man and do handel very well in swells up to 40ft and they surf well and with full control in extreme weather as long as you stay under 14 knots. If you want to get in to the yachting game, a Sadler 26 is the ideal starter boat and they are capable and safe offshore sailers. If you do not know which yacht to buy, you can not go wrong with a Sadler 26.
I have owned my Sadler 26 for 5 years, after moving up from a Cornish Shrimper. The accomadation is very good for a 26' She sails extremely well, and has looked after me and crew in some bad weather. We are more likely to let the boat down far earlier than she lets us down. I also sail her single handed and she is so easy to handle.

A superb boat, it handles like a dinghy and is never out of control even in extreme conditions. A good choice for anyone wanting a fairly roomy 26 foot yacht, you get performance with safety.

The Sadler 26 is an excellent sea boat and I have been extremely pleased with Copper Beaches performance. Her accommodation is good for a 26ft sailing boat, and our factory fitted boat has an excellent standard of joinery.I particuulary like the pull out chart table-very convienent. We've had a Jaguar 25 previously, and we were pleased with the performance of that, but the difference between the two is chalk and cheese. A cruising chute came with our boat, and it is a great boon.
Owned for 1 year.
