All of the earlier Montesa Cotas are flying machines, and this is manifest in this model. It's powerful enough to pull a wheelie in fourth from stop, and can get up to about 50 mph in the same gear, or about 90 mph in sixth. It's an arse to start because of the compression, and when the pissing condensor gets too hot you need to patiently wait until it will let the bike run again, but it can be moved to avoid this problem.
Overall, when the condensor is repositioned and the beast is running, fast top and low end top end speed, good breaks, amazing suspension - wild ride.
