I had a R reg, racing green one with black soft top and flick up lights. Everyone was well inpressed with its looks as i added a spoiler, twin exsaust and electric arial. paint work was still great and started every morning with no probs. Didnt have to service much or change anything sept sparks and tyres. No room inside for anthing exsept yourselfs but boot serpriseingly big. Had to watch where you park it thou as i had the roof cut open & seen a few that have be4 too. Great little car miss it loads!

Looks sporty
Not expensive

My petrol consumption has increased...keep wanting to make the journies last a bit longer. Mine is 14 years old, but still 'does what it says on the tin'...fun, fun, fun.

Hi all you would be MX5 owners!! If the only thing thats putting you off purchasing one of these babys is the boot size then read on. I idolise my 98 Eunos and also own a BMW18i for cash and carry purposes as I own a convinience store but during this gorgeous weather we've been having lately decide to take my MX5 to cash & carry!! Here is a list of what I picked up and managed to get in this super vehicle: 2 x cartons of 200 cigarettes, carton of 12 bottles washing-up liquid, 8 x packs of bacon, 14 x standard loaves, 4 x packs of bread rolls, 3 x packs of 30 chewing gums, 8 x 1 lites bottles of milk, 24 pack of oasis drinks, 2 cartons of family bags of sweets, 4 x cartons of 24 ice creams, then onto deli for 3 carrier bags full of shopping, plus passenger and of course driver, so now you know what this beaut is capable of carrying whats your excuse??? Best move I ever made, reliable, great fun, fab handling, mega-posing machine and economical!! GET ONE! Sue x

i have a modified 1990 1.6 mx5 turbo eunos roadster running 254 bhp. it was imported from japan in january so is still immaculate. a few mods are : garrett t28 hybrid turbo, blitz boost controller, greddy intercooler, hks exhaust, tein suspension.
0-60=4.8 secs, 0-100=11.9 secs !
this car flies ! it eats subarus and cosworths, it handles just like a race car with a half roll cage.its great on sunny days to put the hood down and just cruise then eat a 30k bmw when he tries to be clever and pass you, i have wiped the smug look off so many faces.
i really cannot fault this car so far. in 6 month im hoping to tune it to be one of the fastest mx5's in the country.

With over 200rwhp approx 225 at the
flywheel, my mx5 is modified and very fast
;o) 0-60 in 5 seconds, 0-100 in around 13
seconds, bye bye virtually anything on the
road and it still looks beautiful, handles
amazing (all uprated tyres, low weight
wheels, poly bushes, strut bracing, 8 way
gas adj shocks, lowered springs, thicker
ARB's) etc, not too mention lightened clutch,
uprated flywheel, LINK ECU etc.... oh and I
can still get over 35 mpg! This thing is fun
and the looks you get as you accelerate RS
Cosworths, many ferraris, imprezza's etc is
priceless ;o)

Great Car, Fast, Fun and handles
well. Good looks, real eye
cathcher. Great if theres just the
two of you...Leather interior and
Air con are extras you shouldn't
be without. Make sure you get
yours checked out as they can be
subject to abuse. Check bodywork
thoroughly! Goodluck....
